How do you know how much wallpaper you need?

It's always a challenge... How much wallpaper do you actually need to wallpaper a wall? There are different types of wallpaper, such as murals and wallpaper on a roll/panels.

What is a Mural?
Mural wallpaper (or a 'mural') is a type of wallpaper that functions as a large, continuous wall painting or an enlarged photo wallpaper. Unlike traditional wallpaper with a repeating pattern, a mural forms one complete image or representation across the entire wall.

How do you measure the number of required m2 for a Mural?
Measure the size of the wall (height x width) and add the calculated square meters to the shopping cart. Round the result up.

For example:
4.1 m x 2.8 m = 11.48 m2 —> Order 12m2
Patterned Wallpaper / Panels:
Each panel has a fixed width, so it is important to pay close attention to this. We work with a fixed supplier where each panel has a fixed width of 53cm. When you have rolls of wallpaper, this is essentially the same, but you still calculate how many panels you can get from one roll.
How do you measure the required m2 for panels?
Divide the wall into 53cm sections and round up.

For example:
280 cm / 53 = 5.28 —> Order 6 panels
This way, you'll know exactly what to order the next time you wallpaper a room!
