Why Open Ended Play is so popular

Mode

Modu sets consist of large tactile foam building blocks, connectors, and wheels. All designed to encourage children to create their own creations. MODU stimulates and supports every stage of your child's development.

Dena

dëna toys are made of platinum silicone, a soft and durable material, BPA-free and 100% safe. They come in various shapes, such as houses, trees, and figures, and can easily be turned inside out to create a different shape. Dëna toys can even be used as teethers for babies and offer countless play possibilities. They are available in fluorescent, pastel, or natural colors.

Stapelstein

Stapelstein's stacking stones are incredibly popular with all ages. They do have a price tag, but it's definitely worth the investment. They come in various packages and colors. You can use them to create a circuit like a trip around the world, stack or sort them, swing or sit on them, make a boat in the pool, and so much more. You can use them both indoors and outdoors.

Balance boards

A Wobbel or other balance board might seem like a simple, curved piece of wood to adults, but put this Wobbel board in the living room, and children immediately see the possibilities. A bridge, a swing, a racetrack, a goal—you name it, but this Wobbel fits perfectly within open-ended play!

Make it extra cozy and buy a blanket with or without a cushion for your Wobbel. Chill out!

These days, there are even wobble gymnastics or wobble yoga classes you can take indoors or outdoors. And yes, moms and dads are welcome to join in!

WayToPlay

WayToPlay's flexible, waterproof, and unbreakable tracks offer countless play possibilities. Especially when combined with other toys, entire villages can be created with different activities or events. The tracks can be taken anywhere. A track in the pool, in the bathtub, among the leaves in the forest, or on the beach. With WayToPlay tracks, you're ready for anything.

Coblo

One of my favorites. My own children play with it literally every day. The play possibilities are endless. The strong magnetic blocks allow them to build and knock over all sorts of structures, sort by color, write numbers or words, create artwork on a magnetic wall, and so much more.

RAINBOW PUZZLES

Rainbow puzzles are incredibly popular again these days. Our favorite, made of wood or silicone, like Dëna's rainbow. Endless play possibilities, especially when combined with other toys. And completely safe for even the littlest ones.

WOODEN BLOCKS

Classic wooden blocks are a must-have on our list of open-ended toys. Building blocks trains our little ones' spatial awareness. Seeing blocks also challenges them to create structures.

Tip: Imaginative toys often combine well, creating even more play possibilities. Try placing the dinosaurs next to the Wobbel ;).
